How do you choose a practitioner?There are a few things you want to look at before inviting someone into your home to "Feng Shui" your space. I practice and teach The Black Hat Sect of Feng Shui, but all schools of Feng Shui work. Find a style (school) that resonates with you and find a practitioner that you relate to. Make sure they have graduated from a program and undersand all of the aspects of Feng Shui. If you invite someone into your home that doesn't understand the power of Feng Shui, they can actually do more harm than good. Why schedule a consultation with Leigh?
Leigh has a passion for working with clients helping them to achieve their goals through the art of Feng Shui. Leigh’s style allows her to personalize adjustments that are meaningful to the client so they receive a powerful life changing consultation that is comfortable, personal and easy to work with. Leigh spends time with you in your home walking you through any adjustments that may be necessary, giving you creative and simple ideas to incorporate into your space. Leigh also evaluates the energy patterns of the home and recommends any necessary adjustments there as well. As a follow-up to the consultation, Leigh includes a written report walking you through your home, explaining the personal connection of each area and how it affects you and the necessary adjustments to activate these areas, including a checklist to ensure no adjustment is missed. There is no additional charge for this report, and due to the time and energy required, this report is a $125 value.
Leigh’s prices are affordable. She could easily charge $2 per square foot, as do some consultants, but doesn’t want to exclude anyone that might not be able to afford such an exorbitant fee. At that rate a 1500 sq. ft home would cost $3000. With Leigh’s rates you can Feng Shui that same home for $200 to $300. Consultations are fun and inspiring for Leigh and her clients and she wants to keep consultations available to anyone that wants to benefit from the life changing experience of Feng Shui.
Leigh's territory includes the Austin, Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas areas. If you live outside of these areas and would like to work with Leigh, consultations may be performed through phone, email, and fax. In-person rates apply with a minumum of two hours to begin. Another alternative would be the Your Life, Designed program. This is a nine-week program in which you follow along in Leigh’s book “Your Life, Designed” in a guided online classroom environment and Feng Shui your space with the help of Leigh and other participants. Leigh Kubin
Leigh has been studying Feng Shui for 9 years. She began her practice in 2004 and began teaching in 2006. Leigh is Co-Owner/Co-Director and instructor for The Feng Shui Training Center. Currently Leigh is working on her B.S. in Psychology with a minor in business management. She has written one book on Feng Shui, "Your Life, Designed" and has started her second book about Feng Shui in the Classroom. Leigh is a member of the International Feng Shui Guild and is a volunteer at the local Elementary School volunteering her time and her Feng Shui knowledge to improve the learning environment of both the teachers and students.
Leigh practices and teaches the BTB Sect of Feng Shui. Leigh was recently asked if the BTB Sect of Feng Shui was a cult :-). The answer is no! Feng Shui is not about religion, but about surrounding yourself with reminders of your goals, in other words, it is all about intention. Leigh has chosen the BTB style of Feng Shui because it is contemporary, practical, and resonates with her. All styles of Feng Shui are equally effective, the key is to find the one that resonates with you.
She works with her clients to come up with unique cures and limits the number of cookie cutter cures used in a consultation. She believes the more relevance the cure has for the client the better results they will see for themselves. Her style is to have the client take ownership in the creation process of their lives and enjoy the tremendous results of their efforts. Leigh makes Feng Shui easy, practical, and rewarding.
